With a second ranch in Oklahoma, M. S. Hollis is presently headquartered in the Hill Country just west of Austin in Wimberley, Texas. Inspired in the dinosaur days to create art after a youthful encounter with Georgia O'Keefe, a fine art degree was achieved along with the university's Outstanding Art Student Award.
The artist was selected from the United States four times to exhibit in the great
United Nations endorsed Biennale Internazionale Dell'Arte Contemporanea in citta di Firenze (Florence), Italy

The artist was selected to illustrate the children's book series,
"There's Got To Be A Pony" plus the images for the accompanying Broadway-like production involving horses. The Honorable Ben Night Horse Campbell, Senator from Colorado, and his lovely bride, Linda, recently presented a copy to the First Lady, Laura, and President George W. Bush.
